Company said in official statement that, we would like to inform you that the Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has received 1st letter of Award from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited for 16780 Stand‐alone Off‐Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) pumps for the entire state of Karnataka under Component‐B of PM‐KUSUM scheme. The total value of the 16,780 pumps is around Rs. 654.03 Crores (inclusive of GST).

Shakti is executing a ₹17,000 crore expansion plan, which includes doubling pump and motor capacity and establishing a 2.2 GW solar cell and module plant in Madhya Pradesh.
